Now' s The Time To Buy A Brand New Buick

It hasn't been entirely smooth sailing for Buick since GM's bankruptcy back in 2009. The latest sales figures are proof. As GM Authority noticed, the premium brand's sales decreased 13.7 percent to 51,257 units in the fourth quarter of 2018. It's not exactly the way Buick had hoped to end the year. And now it's not taking any chances for the first part of 2019. In an attempt to reverse some of those declining sales, Buick is now offering 0 percent APR financing for 72 months on certain leftover 2018 models, save for the base 1SV trims. GM The following is a sample list of the entire 2018 lineup with the starting MSRP for the first trim levels above 1SV. • Encore (Preferred) – $25,595 • Envision (Preferred) – $34,695 • Enclave (Essence) – $45,295 • LaCrosse (Preferred) – $34,595 • Regal Sportback (Preferred) – $28,595 • Regal TourX (Preferred) – $33,595 • Cascada (Premium) – $36,995 With prices like that with no interest for six years, it's definitely something to consider. There are certain restrictions, of course. For instance, customers must take delivery by January 31, while not everyone will qualify (depending on credit score, etc.), and the offer cannot be combined with others, like special lease rates. One restriction that's not listed, however, is how customers do their financing. Often times, deals like this require one to finance through the automaker's financial arm, in this case GM Financial. Based on what we're seeing that's not the case here. Buick It will be interesting to see whether this offer will help reverse slowing sales, but the bottom line answer comes down to product. For example, chances are the Cascada convertible won't exactly be flying off dealership lots. However, crossovers like the Encore, Envision, and Enclave will probably do a lot better. As for sedans like the Regal and LaCrosse, well, who knows? Like most sedans, LaCrosse sales decreased from 20,161 units in 2017 to 15,527 in 2018. In 2015, that figure reached 42,034. Numbers don't lie and who knows how much longer the LaCrosse will be around. But hey, if you like large premium sedans, now's the time to buy. Buick Buick Buick Join The Discussion
