The BMW Of The Future Is Coming To CES

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas seems to be attracting more and more auto manufacturers each year. CES 2019 will be held from 8 to 11 January and BMW has chosen this event to showcase its latest hi-tech offerings from the Vision iNext to its upcoming electronic personal assistant. Visitors to CES will be able to both see the BMW Vision iNext in the metal as well as experience some of its features in the form of a virtual reality experience using a specially-designed special concept and a set of VR goggles. There will also be an opportunity for people to see how BMW plans to integrate high-tech user interfaces as part of the interior design and materials. BMW BMW BMW Voice control systems have generally been nothing more than frustrating gimmicks in the past but BMW's latest offering aims to change all that. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will become available in vehicles from March 2019 onwards and visitors to CES will get a chance to experiment with it and see how it controls key functions using natural language voice communication. Fans of BMW's extensive range of motorcycles will be very interested in the high-performance R 1200 GS that has been developed as a research platform to help riders improve their maneuvering in the future. What makes it so interesting is that this bike can operate without a rider. BMW BMW The recently launched BMW X7 will also be on hand to demonstrate its highly advanced off-road technology. A challenging off-road course will be laid out where visitors can take a seat in BMW's latest X model and experience its capabilities for themselves. Aside from BMW, Mercedes and a number of other high-profile auto manufacturers will also be displaying their latest tech at CES. With such a focus on technology and the move towards a more connected driving experience, this event may become the show of choice for those wanting a glimpse into what the future of the auto industry holds.
