Porsche Exclusive Wants To Make A Panamera GTS Just For You

Jan. 18, 2019 5:30 PM ET by Noah Joseph / 6 Comments Why are there so many options on Porsches? So you've settled on picking up a new Porsche Panamera. The biggest choice, then, would seem to be behind you. But you're just getting started.
Zuffenhausen offers the Panamera in three body-styles with seven engine options – even without the diesels. Then there's all the options, which the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur extends even further. Just look at this one, decked out in Kermit green – or what Porsche calls Mamba Green Metallic – both inside and out. And it only hints at the possibilities offered by the German automaker's personalization department. Porsche This example is based on the standard-wheelbase, four-door Panamera GTS – arguably the enthusiast's choice, packing all the performance-enhancing goodies available as options on "lesser" versions and throwing in a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to deliver 454 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. That's more muscle than any conventionally powered (non-hybrid) Panamera short of the Turbo. It's riding on what might look like standard wheels, but even those have been upgraded to 21-inch SportDesign alloys with what the manufacturer describes as a "satin platinum" finish. The LED taillight strip's been tinted, and there's an Exclusive Design gear-shift knob inside, too. Not your cup of DayGlo-green tea? That's alright, it wouldn't be ours, either. But that's not the point. The point is that Porsche Exclusive can set up your Panamera (or any other model the company makes) just about any way you want... for a price, of course. Just take a look at some of the other configurations the Exclusive Manufaktur has done recently, and start saving. A base Panamera will set you back over $86k and the top Turbo S E-Hybrid gets precariously close to the $200k mark (especially in extended Executive or long-roof Sport Turismo styles) – and that's before you delve into the endless list of options.
