2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Does 0-60 MPH In 2 85 Seconds

Although Chevrolet has yet to make an official announcement, Corvette Blogger has learned some of the 2019 Corvette ZR1's incredible performance specs. The information actually comes directly from Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles, who spoke with a Corvette Blogger associate last week at the 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida. During the walk-around tour at the Chevrolet Performance tent, Harlan revealed the new C7 ZR1 has a 0-60 mph time of 2.85 seconds and goes 0-100 mph in 6 seconds flat. It also has a quarter-mile time of 10.6 seconds at 134 mph. To compare those figures, the Ferrari 488 GTB makes the 0-60 sprint in 3 seconds flat, 0-100 in 6.3 seconds and does the quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds. Chevrolet Chevrolet has created a true Ferrari fighter for over $100,000 less. Of course official test drives of the new ZR1 have yet to get underway, as it'll be even more intriguing to see how this massive rear-winged beast handles when compared to some of Italy's finest supercars.
