An official teaser image and recent design sketches suggest the luxury sedan is getting a significant overhaul for the facelift. Ahead of its debut, fresh images of the 2020 G90 have surfaced online showing the sedan without much camouflage. Posted on a Korean forum, the refreshed flagship features a ginormous crest grille that looks similar to the one used on the GV80 concept. We hope you like massive grilles because this one nearly takes up the entire front section. Flanking the grille are new G-Matrix headlights with slim LED daytime running lights in the middle. We particularly like how the light strip extends behind the headlight into the front fender. Elsewhere, the new bumper features restyled air intakes. Compared to its predecessor, the front looks a lot more stylish and distinctive. More changes can be found at the rear, which looks drastically different to the current model. The vertical taillights have been replaced with larger horizontal ones. As we saw in the recent design sketch, one of the rear light strips extends across the entire width of the car. To make room for it, the license plate area has been moved from the trunk to the bumper. There's also a new rear spoiler and restyled exhaust tips. We also get a first look at the 2020 Genesis G90's interior. There aren't any major changes to report, though Genesis has confirmed the G90 facelift will benefit from the same upgrades as the second-generation Kia K900 received earlier this year, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a new 3D instrument cluster. It will also have an adaptive suspension as well as an assortment of driver assists, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Safe Exit Assist. Like its predecessor, expect the US-spec 2020 Genesis G90 to be offered with a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 delivering 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque and a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 420 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Genesis will lift the wraps off the 2020 G90 on November 27, so there isn't long to wait.
