TRD has certainly been busy lately and Toyota's tuning arm is planning to reveal something big at the 2018 LA Auto Show. Toyota just teased two new TRD models on its Twitter account, both of which will make their debut later this month in LA. Toyota The teaser doesn't show much, just the front ends of a white Camry TRD and a red Avalon TRD. Since the Camry is positioned ahead of the Avalon, we can see it sports a set of black TRD wheels and red brake calipers. Both cars feature more aggressive bodywork with black splitters, each of which also has a sporty red lip. Toyota accompanied the image with the caption "#LAAutoShow here we come. Move over trucks - our #TRD family is growing and we saved you a seat: https://toyota.us/2yTa2vl #LAAutoShow." Each is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing a healthy 301 horsepower, which is near the top of the class. If we had to guess, the TRD versions will likely include visual and suspension upgrades but won't add any extra power. In the past, TRD has offered superchargers for Toyota cars, so there is a slight possibility that these new cars come with some sort of power upgrade. We don't want to get our hopes up but TRD versions of the Avalon and Camry still sound pretty cool.
