Jaguar XE SV Project 8 Owners Will Race Each Other In Series Elite

It's being described as "a one-make racing series exclusively for the mature driver, appealing to amateur and experienced racers alike." So if you're not mature, meaning under the age of 50, does this mean you're automatically out? Yep. Oh, and you also have to own a Jaguar XE SV Project 8, of which only 300 examples exist worldwide. Introducing the Series Elite, an ultra-exclusive racing series that will get underway next May with only a single vehicle type: the XE SV Project 8. The 12-race season will see only 20 of those cars taking part and each one will need to be lightly modified to participate. Fortunately, once the season is over the 600-hp sedans can be converted back to regular road cars. The official Series Elite website does not provide a price tag for the cost of entry, but we can guarantee it ain't cheap. As a club member, your XE SV Project 8 will be "stored and prepared at a centralized team facility" while drivers will be "provided with all the relevant training, testing and race experience needed to compete in the new series." It's a luxury racing series for a select few "high net worth individuals" who already own a very limited production vehicle. Jaguar has at least some involvement with the series, but its official website clearly indicates it is its own company. Members are not only buying the right to privately race their cars, but also a luxury lifestyle. Jaguar Additional experiences will include dinners with racing legends, ice driving, exclusive Jaguar customer events, an Africa Safari experience, a Formula E weekend, and more. All of the races will take place in either the UK or elsewhere in Europe. If you even have to wonder (assuming you already own an XE SV Project 8) how much the cost of entry is then you shouldn't even bother inquiring for more details.
