The Isle of Mann TT Festival is where many of the world's greatest motorcyclists test their skills on the stunning and dangerous Mountain Course. If you're a new rider then don't even bother. No amateurs allowed. But what if you prefer driving cars instead of motorbikes? Is the Mountain Course still accessible with four wheels? Of course it is, and Ford figured its new Mustang Bullitt is a prime candidate to tackle this incredible driving road. Ford is currently releasing a series of short films that "showcase hidden gems for drivers and travelers alike" and this particular driving road is now being featured. Ford Auto scribe Steve Sutcliffe was asked to strap into a Mustang Bullitt's driver's seat and put his driving skills to the test. Put it this way: it's not an easy course even for experienced drivers. Mistakes can happen. Potentially serious accidents could be the result. "Imagine German autobahns, then add hills and twists, and shrink it to a single carriageway with incredible views, and what you have are these utterly fantastic, and dramatic, roads," said Sutcliffe. "The Mountain Road feels – and is – an utterly dramatic place to drive. It's epic, and quite unlike anywhere else". Europe, particularly, the UK, is home to many longtime Mustang and Steve McQueen fans. This year is also the 50th anniversary of the movie "Bullitt". The 5.0-liter V8 Mustang Bullitt with 453 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque is now available to order in Europe. Let's face it: Europeans love American muscle. Some of the other series films from Ford include the GT supercar driving through the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway and a Ford Fiesta ST buzzing through Via Campocatino in Italy. The Isle of Mann's mountain course is also the only place where one can see all four countries that make up the United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Ford Ford
