For the 2012 film The Avengers, Acura created a custom NSX Spyder Concept for Tony Stark, while the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. drove a custom blacked-out MDX created specifically for the movie featuring a Palladium-powered titanium engine, 9-speed hyper-shift, and diamond quartz brakes. If you fancy owning a piece of automotive history from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of the MDX SUVs created for Avengers Assemble is currently listed for sale by Skruffy Studios. The modified 2011 Acura MDX is one of ten made for the movie. It was also used in the pilot episode of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series and comes with the range-topping Advance package. Modifications include custom wheels, custom fenders, raised suspension, custom-applied step bars and push bar, and a working amber light bar. It also comes complete with autographs from Stan Lee, Clark Gregg, Ming Na Wen, Karen Gillan, Brett Dalton, Bridget Regan, Chad Michael Murray, J August Richards, Glenn Morshower, and Elizabeth Henstridge. The seller says the custom SUV "runs beautifully" and is "stored in a garage under a cover," but the raised suspension makes the ride "a little bumpy." The Comfort Drive System and Tire Pressure Monitoring System also had to be disconnected due to the raised suspension and custom wheels, so don't be alarmed when their warning lights stay on the dash. While a brand Acura MDX starts at $44,200, this kitted-out version will cost you $75,000.

Marvel fans don't have long to wait until the much-anticipated release of Avengers: Endgame, which finally hits cinemas later this month. Gearheads will get to enjoy the cinematic debut of the Audi e-tron GT Concept driven by Tony Stark in the movie. It won't be the first time we've seen a carmaker shamelessly promote a new model in a Marvel movie, either.
