There Are HUGE Discounts On New Jeep Wranglers Right Now
Apr. 19, 2019 3:05 PM ET by Jay Traugott Pricing / 11 Comments We've never seen discounts like this before. Jeep is typically not a brand known for offering sales incentives, especially for its hot-selling Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. However, too much dealership inventory can sometimes dictate otherwise. That's exactly what's happening now, as CarsDirect has discovered. Due to an oversupply of leftover Wranglers, Jeep is now offering cash incentives and those dealer discounts can amount to over $9,000 off the price. To be clear, this is for the current generation JL Wrangler, not the old JK model. Jeep already made a big effort to sell off those JK Wranglers, but now there's an overstock of JLs that need to go, too. Jeep is now offering a $500 bonus on all versions of the 2018 Wrangler. Jeep At first that may not sound like much, but you'll be singing a different tune once some dealer discounts kick in. One Jeep store located in Huntington Beach, California, for example, is offering $8,985 off a Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Once you tack on the $500 factory incentive you're looking at $9,485 in total savings. The MSRP drops from $43,885 to $34,400 – nearly a 22 percent discount. It's also important to note that Wrangler Unlimited body styles are typically easier to find than its two-door counterpart. Obviously depending on what part of the country you live in deals will vary by dealerships. Jeep While that Huntington Beach dealer has an incredible offer, another Jeep store in Canton, Georgia discounted a Wrangler Unlimited Sport by $6,341. That's still a great price considering just how expensive new Wranglers are typically. Expect dealership discounts to vary, so it's best to shop around and you'll have until April 30 to do so, which is when the current offers ends. It's still too early to know whether Jeep will continue the sale into next month, but considering these incredible price cuts, we wouldn't be so sure. The overstocked 2018 models may not be so overstocked anymore. FCA Jeep Jeep Join The Discussion
