There' s Never Been A Better Time To Buy A Saleen Mustang

Apr. 15, 2020 9:00 PM ET by Aaron Brzozowski Tuning / 1 Comment Buyers can get a crazy good deal on the high-powered Saleen S302 right now. With the current Covid-19 outbreak presenting a huge disruption to business as usual throughout the US, automakers have had to get creative to try and drum up some business. That's led automakers like Ford to launch generous new financing offers, including 84-month loans with 0% interest for qualifying customers. Especially if you're a muscle car shopper, that could make now a great time to pull the trigger on a brand new Mustang - even if that Mustang is a Saleen, it turns out. According to a recent Facebook post from Saleen, the S302 - Saleen's tuned, track-optimized take on Ford's iconic pony car - also qualifies for 0% financing for up to 84 months.

If you've been eyeing the latest Saleen S302, this is a deal that's not likely to come around again in your lifetime. Save for another coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 Saleen S302 is based on Ford's already capable sixth-generation Mustang with a number of aesthetic and aerodynamic improvements, a track-optimized RaceCraft suspension, engine oil cooler, Saleen 3-inch exhaust with quad tips, 20-inch Saleen wheels wrapped in high-performance ZR tires, and 475 horsepower at a minimum. "Yellow Label" and "Black Label" models are even more potent, with 740 and 800 peak horsepower ratings, respectively.
Saleen Saleen Saleen Arguably even more important than all of that is that the Saleen S302, unlike the new Shelby GT500, offers a six-speed manual transmission as an option. That might make the 800-horsepower S302 Black Label especially appealing to those who want the Shelby's power, but with the pleasure and engagement of being able to shift their own gears.
The price of all that is between around $47,000 and $73,000 to start, depending on power level - not bad, considering all that you get. Not everyone will qualify for 0% interest for 84 months, of course, but for those who do, it's a heck of a deal. Saleen
