Live Your ' Fast And Furious' Fantasy With Dom' s Lego Charger

Mar. 30, 2020 5:45 PM ET by Jared Rosenholtz Movies & TV / 1 Comment You can build your own 10-second car. Sort of. The Lego brand has come a long way from a simple collection of bricks that could be assembled to vaguely resemble common real-world objects. Today, Lego offers a collection of realistic, buildable kits including real-life vehicles like the Land Rover Defender, racecars like the Mini Cooper Rally Car, and movie cars like James Bond's Aston Martin DB5. Lego's latest offering comes from its highly realistic Technic line and is based on the 1970 Dodge Charger driven by Vin Diesel's character, Dominic Toretto. Unfortunately, Fast And Furious 9 has been delayed until April of 2021 (from its original May 2020 release date) but at least this latest Lego toy will give you something to play with while practicing social distancing. Lego Lego Lego Lego Being a Lego Technic model, the Charger features a ton of realistic features that are based on the original 1970 car. Opening the hood reveals a lego version of the iconic HEMI V8 including moving pistons, wishbone suspension, steering system and, the famous air blower. There are even nitro bottles in the trunk, helping the Charger complete the quarter-mile in 10 seconds or less (before it gets t-boned). Dom's Charger is so powerful, it even pops a wheelie in its race against Brian's Toyota Supra. To mimic this, the Lego model features a wheelstand system that can lift the front end into the air. Once assembled, the Charger can be left in its wheelstand position to be put on display. Lego Lego Lego Dom's Dodge Charger by Lego Technic is meant for children ages 10, and up and includes 1,077 pieces. It measures 15 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches high and is designed to be played with once assembled. Lego has priced the kit at $99.99 and pre-orders are available now with deliveries shipping on April 27, 2020. Printed instructions are included in the package and no batteries are required to enjoy this iconic movie replica. Lego Lego Lego
