New Bentley Bentayga Facelift Leaks Online

Jun. 18, 2020 2:36 PM ET by Sebastian Cenizo Rumor / 7 Comments If so, it's not a huge departure from the old model The Bentayga has been around for a while now and to keep it competitive against newcomers like the Aston Martin DBX, It's time that Bentley gave it a refresh. Recently, we saw a render that suggested the new Bentayga would take styling cues from the hyper-exclusive Bacalar, but if the Instagram post below is accurate, it seems that the new Bentayga will don a much more restrained suit for its mid-life refresh. wilcoblok/Instagram wilcoblok/Instagram wilcoblok/Instagram wilcoblok/Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CBh9L1OnOsB/ According to the instagram post, what we're seeing is a leak of the final production model's design. While some may applaud this design for remaining restrained, it really doesn't look like anything special compared to the outgoing model. Perhaps Bentley has been taking note of the backlash that BMW has received for radically altering the looks of its new cars by exaggerating signature features. On the flip side, if this facelifted look is indeed what we're going to get, Bentley designers may soon be labeled as lazier than the people behind the Porsche 911, a car that's hardly changed its styling in decades. We see a central infotainment display recessed into the cascading dash which features new vents and additional buttons for media and climate control. We also have a sneak peek at the digital driver info display which has apparently again bucked the trend for a single expansive screen that looks like a television and instead tries to mimic the layout and design of traditional analog gauge clusters. We'll have to wait for the official release to confirm any of this, but it's safe to say that the new Bentayga will need a lot of substance if it's going to be accepted with such similar looks to its predecessor.
