Audi has just launched the official configurator for its awesome RS6 Avant, and we're like kids in a candy shop. Sure, at over $100,000 only a select few will be able to afford one, but the thought of building your own is still appealing. Audi's hallowed RS badge also features on the RS3, the svelte RS5, and the highly capable TT RS Coupe. With Audi hinting that more RS cars are heading our way, the future sure looks bright for the company that has just been fully purchased by Volkswagen, and let's be honest; who doesn't get excited by the thought of an unnecessarily fast station wagon? Audi Audi Audi Give us the reigns and we would build the RS6 Avant as follows: first off, you only get a single-engine option, which is a mighty twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 producing 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Standard features also include 21-inch 10 V-spoke aluminum wheels, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, as well as a full-leather interior amongst others. On the outside, we would go with the Navarra Blue metallic paint job for $595 and the Black Optic wheel design. On the inside, the standard sport seats would stay in place, and we would cover it in black leather with red stitching. The carbon fiber inlays would also be something we'd include. There's an Individual contour seating package on offer for $1,500 with heated and ventilated 18-way power seats, but this isn't a cruise ship, it's a supercar, so we'll skip that one. Audi Audi Audi Audi In terms of options, true gearheads will get the $8,500 Gray Ceramic Brake Package which also raises the top speed to 190 mph. The Black Optic Package which we included when selecting the black wheels also adds black exterior side mirror housings and roof rails as well as other black exterior touches. Finally, we would get the Driver Assistance Package for added safety. This $2,250 package includes adaptive cruise control, intersection assist, and traffic sign recognition.
