2020 Dodge Challenger Has The Coolest New Color Option

Jun. 07, 2020 7:00 AM ET by Jay Traugott Muscle Cars / 6 Comments And more updates fans need to know about. We could all use some more upbeat news these days and Dodge is here to do just that. Declaring that "muscle car season is in full swing," the automaker has just announced new options for both the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger, though the main highlight is a new exterior color. Both coupe and sedan muscle cars are now available with Smoke Show, which replaces Destroy Grey in the list of paint colors. There are actually a total of five new exterior paint options with the other four being Hellraisin, Sinamon Stick, Frostbite, and the limited-edition Gold Rush, the latter having been introduced only last year with the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Edition Challenger. Dodge Dodge Dodge Speaking of which, that Limited Edition isn't so limited anymore as the company confirmed it's now called the Commemorative Edition that'll be available on the Challenger R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and R/T Scat Pack Widebody models. Pricing for the Commemorative Edition R/T trim costs an additional $4,995 and $5,495 for the R/T Scat Pack. The R/T Scat Pack Widebody version tacks on $11,495 to the price, but this also includes the $6,000 Widebody Package. It's also important to know that the Commemorative Edition Challenger, despite becoming a regular option, can only be ordered in the following colors: Granite, Indigo Blue, Octane Red, Pitch Black, Triple Nickel, White Knuckle and, of course, the new Smoke Show. Dodge Dodge Dodge All Commemorative Editions also receive a number of interior enhancements such as heated and ventilated Nappa leather and Alcantara suede performance seats featuring a "50" embroidered logo, Alcantara door bolsters, carbon fiber console bezels with a cool copper weave, white-faced gauges with yellow accents, flat-bottom steering wheel, and a unique startup animation in the driver information center showcasing the 1970 Challenger. The order books for all Commemorative Editions are set to open this month and deliveries will begin this fall. Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge Dodge
