This Toyota RAV4 Looks Ready To Race

The fact that over half a million units of the RAV4 were sold in 2019 should give you an idea of just how popular this compact crossover really is. Most RAV4 buyers are after practicality and good value, but there will always be those who want to modify their rides to stand out from the crowd. Japanese tuning company Versus has decided to skip obvious choices such as the Toyota 86 or the JDM legend Supra, and decided to add some spice to this compact family crossover. We must admit, the end result is pretty damn cool. Versus Versus The standard RAV4 is already an edgy looking thing with sharp lines and a fresh face, but there's always room for improvement. The Versus RAV4 you see in front of you has been treated to a very special set of Rays wheels, a legendary brand in JDM circles. The wheels, known as 'Triaina' measure 20×8.5 in the front and 20×9 inch in the rear. The wheels are also offered in Stratagia guise which adds gloss black spokes with silver elements, as well as in 'Black Diamante', a gloss-black and silver variant on the standard wheels that come in 18-inch and 19-inch sizes. Versus Versus Versus The wheels already add a greater sense of sportiness, but Versus has gone one step further by adding a set of serious-looking wheel arches which reminds us of the Crawford Performance Subaru Crosstrek we featured recently. The wheel arches are finished off in matte black and give the appearance of a rally-bred racer. The rear wheel arches are finished off in the same matte black, and in the front, there's a set of small LED light bars mounted below the grille for added attitude. The brake calipers have also been painted a bright yellow. This RAV4 is ready to hit suburban streets with a new attitude. Versus Versus Versus
