New Jeep Gladiator Altitude Offers Tremendous Value

At the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, Jeep presented a new limited-edition High Altitude version of the Gladiator pickup that added a slew of luxuries, including a full leather interior, an Alpine premium audio system, and driver assists such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, automatic high beams, and remote keyless entry. It also rides on 20-inch wheels and features body-colored exterior enhancements. According to Mopar Insider's sources, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator will expand with a new budget-friendly 'Altitude' model that bundles some popular options for a discounted price, essentially making it a cheaper alternative to the High Altitude. Jeep Jeep Based on the mid-level Sport S model, the Altitude will reportedly get a dark-themed appearance package with black Jeep and Trail Rated badges and a black three-piece hardtop. It will also include the bumper from the Overlander trim and body-colored fenders. The Jeep Gladiator Altitude will ride on 18-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tires. Inside, the cabin is trimmed with black accent stitching and the instrument panel will be finished in Wizard Black trim. Like all trims, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Altitude is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox is the only transmission option for the Altitude. Jeep Jeep According to the dealer information obtained by Mopar Insiders, the Altitude package will retail for $1,595. Normally, these options would cost $3,230, so the package offers a generous saving of $1,635 (51 percent). Not bad at all. Pricing for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Altitude will start at $40,340 excluding the $1,495 destination charge. Availability hasn't been confirmed, so we'll have to wait for an official announcement from Jeep.
