The Honda Civic Type R is a legend amongst gearheads, especially those who are into high-performance Japanese cars. The Type R's legacy began in 1996 with the launch of the EK9, and these days we get to enjoy the turbocharged FK8. According to Auto Express, the upcoming Type R will stick to its roots but will grow in size. With competitors such as the Subaru WRX STI and Hyundai Veloster N hot on its heels, the Type R has had to adopt more traditional turbo power in favor of high-revving naturally aspirated engines. Comfort has also taken up a more important role. So how will the next Civic Type R change things up?
