The New Bronco Deserves Old School Graphics

This rugged SUV that is set to bring the fight to the Jeep Wrangler has stirred the imaginations of thousands, and people are already coming up with special editions even before the car has been released to the public. Who can resist when you have such a cool-looking platform to work off of? Bronco fans of old will remember that a big part of this legend's appeal lay in the awesome graphics that decorated the exterior. Consisting mostly of basic geometric shapes, these old school graphics gave the Bronco some serious appeal, and now designer Kevin Foutz has released some renderings of the new Bronco with some tasty pinstripes. Fords 'Freewheeling' graphics package released in that time consisted of pinstripe graphics down the side of the body, hood, tailgate, and B-pillar and was most often chosen with hues of brown, orange, reds and yellows. These graphics packages didn't just run skin deep: they often came with interior upgrades such as new steering wheels and fog lights. Some highlights include a rusted design that mimics the rat rod look, but still includes the classic pinstripes of the other renderings. We also love the simple white and blue car with dual stripes running down the sides. Clean and classy we say. Off-road fans are already praising the best-in-class 11.6-inches of ground clearance. An optional 12-inch infotainment screen will bring things into the 21st century. Power will be provided by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, but a 2.7-liter turbo V6 with 310 hp and 400 lb-ft will also be available.
