2021 Mercedes S-Class Interior Shown In Full

Aug. 14, 2020 3:30 PM ET by Martin Bigg Interior / 22 Comments There's even heated cushions on the rear seats. We're now less than one month away from the world debut of the all-new Mercedes S-Class. In the run-up to its reveal on September 2, Mercedes has previewed the interior's digital technology, innovative front airbags for rear passengers, and advanced ambient lighting. But it turns out we don't have to wait until September 2 to see the interior, because photos on Mercedes' media site show off the luxury sedan's new cabin in all its glory. The model shown in the extensive gallery of photos adopts a four-seat layout, but the new S-Class will also be offered with five seats.
New photos showing off the rear cabin show that rear passengers will be traveling in even greater comfort thanks to heated cushions on the rear headrests. Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz The rear can also be configured with reclining seats, a folding center armrest, or a business center console, while acoustic foam will also keep the cabin quieter and more refined than ever before. We also get a much clearer look at the abundance of high-tech screens that were first shown in a series of shadowy teaser photos last month. The high-tech cabin can be equipped with up to five digital displays, with 27 fewer physical buttons than the previous S-Class. Dominating the dashboard is a massive 12.8-inch portrait screen that flows into the center console, while a new head-up display incorporates augmented reality technology. Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz Up to three more screens can be fitted in the back to keep rear passengers entertained. Adjusting settings is also made easier thanks to Mercedes' improved voice assistant, which now supports 27 languages and responds to commands more naturally. While Mercedes has provided an extensive look at the interior, the exterior has only been partially shown in a teaser photo previewing the luxury sedan's new laser light technology. Compared to its predecessor, the standard S-Class will have a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase, while the long-wheelbase variant will be two inches longer than the old model. Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz
