The Porsche Cayman's interior has always been a rather basic affair. It's designed for fast driving more than anything else, and the GT4 RS expands on this ethos. Full bucket seats - first equipped to the 918 Spyder - are standard here. There are many other details that remind you that this is no ordinary Cayman, be it the Race-Tex-trimmed steering wheel or the rev counter that goes all the way up to 10,000 rpm. In the case of the Clubsport Package upgrade, there is a bolted steel roll cage. Saving more weight are the lightweight door panels with a storage net, and the sound system that matters is the one with 4.0 liters and six cylinders, although a 10-speaker Bose unit is available. Dual-zone automatic climate control and electric height adjustment for the seats are two of the few standard comfort features. 2023 718 Cayman GT4 RS Interior Photos
Porsche Porsche Porsche Seating and Interior Space
The interior of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS seats only two lucky individuals as the engine takes up the space where a second row would usually be. Although legroom and headroom can't be described as ample, interior space is enough for six-footers, and overall, the cabin has a sporty and reassuringly snug feel. In true Porsche tradition, the car feels like an extension of the driver from behind the wheel. Forward and side visibility are great, and the steering wheel is optimally positioned. This is a low sports car, so ingress and egress require some effort, but the payoff is well worth it. As standard, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS's seats are full buckets with manual fore/aft adjustment but electric adjustment for height. Made from CFRP, the seats save weight and provide exceptional lateral support under hard cornering. Unfortunately, the high side bolsters make getting out of these seats a pain, so you may want to consider going for the adaptive sport seats with 18-way adjustment. There are also three 3D-printed bodyform full bucket driver's seats. At $3,380, they come in soft, medium, or hard options to perfectly suit the level of support/comfort desired. 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Interior Dimensions

Solidly built but more sporty than luxurious, the Cayman's cabin materials should withstand the abuse that the car as a whole is designed to take. The standard full bucket seats found inside are made from CFRP and have a distinctive carbon-weave finish. Upholstery is a mix of black leather and seat centers in Arctic Grey Race-Tex, and the headrests are embroidered with the GT4 RS logo in Arctic Grey as well. Black leather also covers the steering wheel airbag module and door panel armrest side sections, while Race-Tex is used for the steering wheel rim, door grab handles, and roof lining. The steering wheel has a yellow top center marking, one of the few splashes of color. Elsewhere, there are trim inserts in matte carbon fiber. A more luxurious leather/Race-Tex upgrade is available for $2,160, and one of these options will replace the Arctic Grey stitching with Deep Sea Blue stitching. If money is no object, you can splurge on the Extended Deviated Stitching Interior Package for $3,230 or go for bespoke illuminated door-sill guards in carbon fiber for $1,660. The 718 Cayman GT4 RS's interior colors extend to the customizable instrument dials and seat belts. For example, the belts can be had in a variety of colors, including Lizard Green and Racing Yellow. More comfortable seating comes via the 18-way adaptive sport seats that are a no-cost option and come in the same colors. Finally, the optional Weissach Package adds a Race-Tex finish to the upper dashboard and Weissach logos around the cabin. The total trunk space of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS works out to a volume of 9.2 cubic feet. Unfortunately, this area is split between a front trunk (4.4 cubes) and a rear luggage area (4.8 cubes), so accommodating larger items will be a challenge. In the cabin, there is a storage compartment net in each door and two cupholders integrated into the trim strip ahead of the passenger. A center console storage compartment provides limited storage for wallets and the like. While not massively practical, the GT4 RS isn't entirely unlivable either. 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Trunk and Cargo Space Photos

Features
If you are expecting a long list of standard features, you've missed the point of the Cayman GT4 RS. This is a hardcore sports car and weight-saving has been a crucial aspect of its development, so Porsche has only included the essentials. The GT4 RS comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, electric height adjustment for the seats, a 4.6-inch color display ahead of the driver, regular cruise control, rear parking sensors, a garage door opener, and a rearview camera. Anything else will require an added cost, although the 18-way adaptive sports seats are at least a no-cost extra. Heated seats go for $530. Advanced driver aids like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning aren't available. Infotainment
A seven-inch touchscreen is small by modern standards but most buyers of the Cayman GT4 RS are unlikely to care about any infotainment system shortcomings. More importantly, the Porsche Communication Management system is reasonably simple to get to grips with. Navigation, updatable onboard maps (for the first three years), and a 4G LTE module are included. Porsche Connect also comes with real-time traffic information, and settings can be managed via the Porsche Connect app. Porsche includes HD Radio, SiriusXM with a three-month Platinum Plan trial subscription, its Track Precision app, a CD/DVD drive, 11 GB of internal jukebox storage, a single USB port, and dual SD card clots. Bluetooth and wired Apple CarPlay with Siri are standard, but Android Auto remains absent. The sound system is an eight-speaker unit with 150 watts of power, but $990 will get you a 10-speaker Bose sound system with a much better 505 watts of punch. A smartphone compartment is another option. FAQs
