Dead Drug Dealer' s Toyota Supras Sell For Massive Money
Jun. 10, 2022 3:41 PM ET by Gerhard Horn Auctions / 9 Comments A Quicksilver A80 with 23,000 miles sold for $265,000. Massachusetts cops busted Cory A. Taylor in August last year. He was caught driving a Ford Econoline with 138 pounds of wacky tobacky and brass knuckles. Mary Jane is not illegal in Massachusetts, but you can only carry one ounce on your person, and you may only have 10 ounces at home or in your car. In any case, Taylor was over the limit and charged. He failed to turn up for his arraignment, and the cops went to his home, where they discovered huge bales of reefer, lots of guns, millions in cash, and more than 30 cars. It seems Taylor knew how to have a good time. In October, he was found dead in a warehouse. Taylor had excellent taste in cars; most of them were auctioned by Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers last week. Two of the Supras sold quickly broke the record for the most paid for fourth-generation A80. Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers In total, Taylor owned 13 A80 Supras. Oddly, his 30-stong collection did not include the new GR Supra. The previous record was $201,000 for a 7,000-mile Renaissance Red example. The first Supra to break the record was a 1993 Super White with 8,169 miles on the clock. It went for $237,500. After that, somebody broke the record again and paid $265,000 for a Quicksilver example with 22,962 miles. Quicksilver is a scarce color, which is why the higher mileage car received a more significant bid. The record for a Supra belongs to Paul Walker's Fast & Furious car, which sold for $550,000. But these Supras represent only a tiny portion of this cannabis and car enthusiast's collection. Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Some of the deceased cars can still be seen on Stanley J. Paine's website. It's clear that Taylor had a thing for BMW M3s and Japanese vehicles. The collection includes a 2003 E46 M3 with 44,700 on the clock, a 2001 E46 with just under 60,000 miles, a 2005 E46 with 58,000 miles on it, and a 2013 six-speed manual E90 M3 with just 23,000 miles, and a 2017 F80 M3 with a manual conversion. The latter has just 14,264 on the clock. Other items include two Nissan 350 Zs, two Honda S2000s, and two Mitsubishi Lancer Evos. The oddest pieces are a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 and a John Deere tractor with a bucket loader. The latter was likely used to roll the ganja into the barn. Stanley J. Paine Auctioneers Stanley J.
