Recent Kia Niro safety reviews have returned decent but not perfect results. The 2021 Kia Niro achieved maximum Good ratings in every crashworthiness test conducted by the IIHS. The results from the NHTSA were not perfect, though; the 2022 Kia Niro scored a four-star overall safety rating but only three stars for the front passenger side test due to the higher likelihood of a chest injury for this occupant in a crash.

2022 Niro Key Safety Features
