We've mentioned before that Audi interiors can sometimes feel cold and clinical, but the S8 simply feels sumptuous. Yes, it's a clean and modern design, but Audi's use of luxury materials and cutting-edge tech makes it feel as plush as it feels futuristic, which is apt considering this sedan sits near the top of pile. The massive displays and clean dashboard design are easy on the eye, and there are just enough sporty elements inside the cabin to remind you that you're driving a special Audi. The virtual cockpit and premium sound system are perfectly suited to the segment this sedan competes in.

As a full-size sedan, the S8 offers abundant space and will seat up to five adults in serene comfort. Those in the front get tons of legroom, making it the perfect daily cruiser for pro basketball players, and those in the back won't ask for more space either. Those in front get 22-way power-adjustable seats with heating and ventilation as standard. The rear passenger space can be configured with two heated, ventilated, massage-capable seats separated by a full-length rear center console with folding tables for the ultimate executive setup. The S8 is a masterclass in interior design and build quality and showcases some of the finest interior elements on offer by any German manufacturer. Audi's choice of materials is a clever mix of luxury and sportiness, and we're fans of the combination used. The seats are offered in your choice of Valcona leather with diamond stitching in Black, Cognac Brown, or Merlot Red. There's also a leather center console and armrest, aluminum door sills, stainless steel pedals and footrests, a carbon gear shift lever, Carbon Vector inlays, and an optional Black Dinamica headliner. The Piano Black Interior Package is optional and will add a Piano Black gear selector, upper inlays, and grab handles. With lots of passenger space on offer, the Audi S8 is an excellent road-tripper, but it's let down by a relatively small trunk that measures just 12.5 cubic feet. It's worth noting that the power-operated trunk does have a wide opening, making the limited space on offer easy to access. If it's trunk space rather than passenger space you're after, the Audi S7, with its Sportback styling, offers nearly double the space. Inside the cabin, the S8 gets four door pockets, cup holders for each row, a sizable glovebox, and a center console storage bin. Features
The S8 is rich in standard features, and Audi offers a bit of everything for buyers; from traditional luxury features such as massage seats and a panoramic roof to an ambient LED interior lighting system and a power trunk lid. Some of our favorite standard features include the four-zone automatic climate control system, wireless phone charging, multicolor ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, and Audi's virtual cockpit. Driver assists that come standard include lane departure warning, pre sense front and basic (which includes a pre-collision system and emergency braking), and a top-view 360-degree camera. Optional extras include side assist with pre sense rear, intersection assist, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control with lane guidance. The Audi S8's engine sounds pretty good at full tilt, but you may want something a little more soothing as a soundtrack in the cabin. Luckily the S8 offers a solid infotainment system consisting of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display that features all the latest software and features. Standard for 2022 is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming, SiriusXM satellite radio with a three-month trial subscription, AM/FM radio, and USB charging ports.
