Dodge ruffled a few feathers when it unveiled the Charger Daytona SRT Concept, a preview of what an electric muscle car will look like in the near future. Not everyone is sold on an electric Dodge, but we imagine the final production version will easily outmatch the gas-powered Dodge Challenger Hellcat. It will be some time before the Charger Daytona reaches production, but if you have a child ages three to five, you can get a Dodge EV right now. iRerts now offers a 12-volt battery-powered ride-on based on the Dodge Challenger. It's currently listed at $299.99 (on sale from $499.99) or from Walmart at only $209.99. Who says there aren't affordable electric cars? iRerts iRerts iRerts iRerts offers three colors, including black, white, and blue plus a police livery. The ride-on toy is surprisingly realistic for the price. It comes with headlights, wheels, a driver seat, and steering wheel that all look reminiscent of the full-size Challenger. Power comes from two 25-watt electric motors (0.03 horsepower each) driven by a 12-volt rechargeable battery. Charging takes around 5-8 hours for approximately 1-2 hours of playtime. Older children can drive the Challenger using the pedals and steering wheel, or parents can take over via remote control. A one-touch start/stop button turns the vehicle on and off, just like a real Challenger. iRerts iRerts iRerts iRerts As with other recent ride-on toys, the iRets Challenger includes more advanced features than a used car from the '90s. It has a USB/MP3 interface, allowing kids to listen to their favorite music. Though the real-life Challenger is strictly meant for tarmac, the ride-on version comes with four-wheel independent suspension, meaning kids can drive it on- or off-road.
