The error typically appears as a purple box across most of the screen. Below is the common message that appears: Can't connect to your wireless network. Check the following:

Cause of Roku Error Code 014 30

This error can occur when you are attempting to start streaming with your Roku device or during a streaming session. It occurs when the internet signal has become too weak for the device to perform properly or if no internet is available.

How to Fix Roku Error 014 30

Resolving this issue is generally straightforward, although it can be caused by problems outside of your control. Test your Wi-Fi network with another device, such as your cell phone or computer. Make sure your internet is working properly before you proceed. If not, stop and contact your internet service provider. Using your Roku remote, go to Settings > System > System restart on the Roku menu or Settings > System > Power > System restart if you have a Roku television to restart your Roku system. Alternatively, you can unplug the Roku device from the power source, wait several seconds, and then reconnect it. Reboot your modem and router. Rebooting the modem and router may reset your wireless signal to normal if there is other interference that has caused the Roku to lose signal. When all devices are powered on again, test the Roku to see if the error occurs. If the error still appears, use the Roku remote to go to Settings > Network > Setup connection and select Wireless. Choose your network and enter the network password to ensure it is entered correctly. Select Connect to proceed. Some users have reported seeing error 014.30 when their network password contained symbols or punctuation. Consider changing the Wi-Fi password to strictly alphanumeric characters to see if this is causing the issue. If you use MAC address filtering on your network your Roku device may be blocked because the MAC address isn't recognized. If you have determined that your Wi-Fi network is working efficiently and all other efforts to resolve error 014.30 have failed, performing a factory reset on your Roku device will restore it to its original settings.
