The Sims expansion packs should be installed in the order they were released for the best results. This ensures you have the correct versions of the game files. You can install The Sims: Deluxe Edition over the original game and any expansion packs you already have. The recommended installation order is: The Sims or The Sims Deluxe or The Sims Mega Deluxe (base game)The Sims: Livin' LargeThe Sims: House PartyThe Sims: Hot DateThe Sims: VacationThe Sims: UnleashedThe Sims: SuperstarThe Sims: Makin' Magic You don't have to own all seven expansion packs, but you should install the ones you do have in the order they were released. For example, if you have Livin' Large, Vacation, and Superstar, install them in that order.
