I use a 2013 Sony Vaio laptop (now discontinued) for daily work—mostly just writing. My smartphone is the discontinued iPhone SE (first generation). For video games, I play with an emulator on my laptop or use Steam. I am a big fan of retro gaming, especially ‘90s Sega games like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, NBA Jam, and Street Fighter. I have also been known to play as myself (Sheeva) in Mortal Kombat 3. I am super nostalgic about the early days of the Internet and, though I don’t miss dial-up modems, they have a special place in my heart, as does Geocities and writing webpages from scratch in HTML.

Education

Sheeva earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Brain and Cognitive Science from MIT and her Master’s in Science at Georgetown University. She’s always learning about something new and exciting in technology. Sheeva has taken online certificate courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Stanford University.
