What to Know

To sign up, you can use your email address, Facebook, or Twitter accounts.To personalize your account, you can upload a profile and cover images, and add profile details. Use Settings to modify your account information, privacy settings, and share your content on other social media platforms. This article explains how to create a Myspace account. Sign In or Sign Up

To set up your Myspace account, first sign up with Myspace. On your PC, go to myspace.com and click Sign Up. You are prompted to sign up with your Facebook account, Twitter account, or email address.

Upload a Profile Image

After you sign up, you can upload a profile image. In the Your Profile Image dialog box, click Upload to browse and upload a photo from your PC. Or, click Camera to take a photo with your webcam and upload it as your profile image. An alternate way to add a profile image is to hover over the profile icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and then select Profile Image in the drop-down menu. In the dialog box, click Next (the white arrow inside the blue box) to progress to the next step in the setup process.

Upload a Cover Image

In the Your Cover Image dialog box, click an image provided by Myspace to set as your cover image, or select Upload my own image to upload a photo from your PC. You can also click Camera to take a photo with your webcam and upload it as your cover image. An alternate way to add a cover image is to hover over the profile photo in the upper-left corner of the screen and then click Cover Image in the drop-down menu. In the dialog box, click Next (the white arrow inside the blue box) to progress to the next step in the setup process.

Add Profile Details

If you want to stop setting up your profile before adding more details or friends, click Finish in the dialog box. Otherwise, click Edit Profile in the upper-right corner of the screen to add your bio, location, Top 8 friends, and more. In the left menu pane, you can also click People > Invite Friends to send an invitation to your friends to join Myspace.

Access Settings

To access more settings, click the Settings gear in the lower-left corner of the screen. There, you can: Modify account information.Change your privacy settings.Send invitations to friends to join Myspace.Set Myspace to share your content on other social media platforms.Sign out.
