Cancel Spotify Premium Through Spotify

If you subscribed to Spotify Premium directly from Spotify, here's how to cancel your subscription anytime. You'll need to cancel from your Spotify account page on the desktop. Log in to Spotify on the desktop. Select your profile picture, and then select Account. Under Your plan, select CHANGE PLAN. A list of available plans will display. Scroll down to Spotify Free and select CANCEL PREMIUM. Select Yes, Cancel. Your account page now shows the date your plan will change back to Spotify Free. You can continue to use Premium features until then. After you cancel Spotify Premium, your account will automatically transition to Spotify Free. Log in, play tunes, and access all your saved music and playlists.

Cancel Spotify From an iTunes Subscription on an iOS Device

If you subscribed to Spotify Premium from iTunes instead of directly through Spotify, you must cancel your account from your iOS device or iTunes on the desktop. Open Settings on your iOS device. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions If you don't see Subscriptions in Settings, tap iTunes & App Store and then your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. Sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions. Tap Spotify. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Alternatively, you can access iTunes from a Mac to cancel your subscription. Open the App Store app. Select the sign-in button or your name from the bottom of the sidebar. Select View Information. (You may be asked to sign in.) Scroll to Subscriptions and then select Manage. Find Spotify and select Edit. Choose a different subscription option or select Cancel Subscription.
