Block Any Email Address in Yandex Mail
In Yandex.Mail, the spam filter takes care of most random junk emails. Still, you might receive unwanted messages. With Yandex.Mail, you can maintain a blacklist to which you can add unwanted email addresses. You won't receive email from any address on your blacklist. To prevent messages from a particular email address from arriving in your Yandex.Mail inbox (so you have no indication the message has been sent at all): Select the Settings gear in your Yandex.Mail inbox. Select Message filtering from the menu that appears. Enter the email address you want to block under Blacklist. Select Add. Emails from that sender will no longer reach your inbox. You can block only individual email addresses in Yandex.Mail, not entire domains.
Block a Sender Quickly in Yandex Mail
Block future messages from a particular sender when you receive an email message from that person. Open an email from the address you want to block in Yandex.Mail. Select the sender's email address or name. Select the Add to Blacklist icon in the dialog box that opens. The sender sheet may not be available for certain messages.
Delete Unwanted Messages Upon Receipt
Another way to avoid Yandex spam is to create a filter that sends unwanted email messages straight to the trash. Select the All Settings gear icon in your Yandex.Mail's top navigation bar. Select Message filters from the options that have appeared. Choose the Create Filter button. Enter the email address of the sender from whom you want to delete messages automatically in the If From Contains box. Select Delete under Take the following action. Select Create Filter.
Unblock a Sender in Yandex Mail
Remove an address from your list of blocked senders using Message Filtering. Select the All Settings gear icon in your Yandex.Mail's top navigation bar. Select Message filtering from the options that have appeared. Make sure the address you want to unblock is selected under Blacklist. You can check and unblock multiple addresses in one go, of course. Select Delete from List. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know! Get the Latest Tech News Delivered Every Day Subscribe Tell us why!
