Follow these steps to delete your Uber account on an iOS or Android device. Launch the Uber app from your smartphone, and make sure you're signed in to your account. Uber asks you why you're deleting your account. Select from a list of reasons or choose Other if you'd rather not say. Your account is now deactivated. Uber will permanently delete the account in 30 days. If you change your mind and want your Uber account back, reactivate it at any time during the 30-day processing period simply by signing back into the app.
