How to Delete a Flipboard Account from the Mobile App
If you're using Flipboard on a mobile device, whether it's Android or iOS, you can delete your Flipboard profile from the Edit Profile option, but you will need your username and password to do it. Here's how. Deleting your Flipboard account is a permanent action. Once the account is deleted, there is no way to recover it. Open the Flipboard app on your device and tap the Profile icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. On your Profile page, tap the Settings gear icon in the upper-right corner. On the Settings page, tap the Edit Profile option. In your Flipboard Account, select More Settings. Then select Delete Account. If you're deleting your Flipboard account because you've changed your email address, you can always select Change Email instead, and add your new email address to your existing account. Enter your Username and Password, then tap Submit. You account will be deleted. How to Delete the Flipboard App From Your Device
Some mobile devices come with Flipboard as a pre-installed app. If you want to remove the app from your mobile device completely, the method may vary slightly. For both iOS and Android, you'll need to find the app on your device, then: On Android: Tap and hold the app until the app menu appears, then select Uninstall. You may be prompted to confirm that you really want to uninstall the app. On some devices, you may need to tap and hold the app and then drag it to the Uninstall link at the top.On iOS: Tap and hold the app until the app icon starts to shake. Then tap the X in the corner of the icon to delete the app from your device.On iPadOS: Tap and hold the app until the app menu appears, and then tap Delete App. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the app. How to Delete Your Flipboard Account on the Desktop Version of Flipboard
If you're using the desktop version of Flipboard through a web browser, the steps to delete it are only slightly different than on a mobile device. You'll still need to have your username and password to delete the account, however. Open Flipboard and click your Profile picture in the upper right corner of the page. In the menu that appears, select Settings. On your Profile page, select Delete account near the bottom of the page. You'll be prompted to enter your Username and Password.
