For most account types, open Calendar, tap the Info icon next to the calendar name and pick Delete Calendar.For accounts without the Delete Calendar option, open Settings, select Calendar, pick Accounts and turn off the Calendar toggle. You can remove an iCloud, subscribed, or Google calendar from your iPhone easily from right within the Calendar app. If you do not see the Delete Calendar option described here, go to the next set of steps to Delete a Calendar in Settings. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone. Tap Calendars at the bottom of the screen. Tap the Info icon (small letter “i”) to the right of the calendar you want to remove. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Calendar. Confirm this action by tapping Delete Calendar in the pop-up window. Deleting a calendar will remove all events associated with that calendar. For some calendars like Exchange, Yahoo, or business accounts set up with Google, you’ll need to head to your Settings app to disable the calendar. These accounts do not display the Delete Calendar option in the Calendar app in the steps above. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select Calendar. Tap Accounts. Choose the account corresponding to the calendar you want to delete. Turn off the toggle for Calendars. Confirm this action by tapping Delete from My iPhone in the pop-up window. If you have a change of heart about a calendar that you’ve removed, you can add it back depending on whether you deleted the account entirely or just the Calendar; follow one of the sets of instructions below. Add a Calendar for an Existing Account
If you continue to use an account for other purposes like Mail or Notes, you can re-enable the Calendar toggle. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select Calendar. Tap Accounts. Choose the account corresponding to the calendar you want to re-enable. Turn on the toggle for Calendars. You should then see your addition in the Calendars list of the Calendar app. Add a Calendar for a New Account
Maybe you have a brand new account that you want to use on your iPhone. You can set it up to use the calendar and include items like Mail and Contacts if you like. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select Calendar. Tap Accounts. Scroll toward the bottom and select Add Account. Choose the type of account you want to add from options like iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, and Google. You can also pick Other if your account does not fall into one of these categories. In our example, we'll use Yahoo! Depending on the type of account you select, follow the subsequent prompts. You’ll need to sign in, connect, and verify the account. This process varies per the account type. Once you add the account, enable the toggle for Calendar and optionally any other items you want to use. You should then see your addition in the Calendar and any other apps you enabled during the setup process. Add a Subscribed Calendar
You may wish to add a calendar for a sports team, school, or organizational schedule. Before you can add it to your iPhone Calendar, you’ll need the web address (ICS file). So, grab that information and then follow these steps. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select Calendar. Tap Accounts. Scroll toward the bottom and select Add Account. Choose Other and pick Add Subscribed Calendar at the bottom. Enter the web address and tap Next. Complete any additional information necessary, such as username or password (uncommon), and tap Save. Add a Description to the subscribed calendar so you can spot it quickly. You should then see your addition in the Calendar app in the Subscribed section of the Calendars list.
