Here's Where You Might Have Seen The Cast Of "Trigger Point" Before

If you currently have a large Line of Duty shaped hole in your life, do I have good news for you! High octane drama Trigger Point kicks off tonight with an explosive episode guaranteed to have you hooked.
BBC One The series – which is produced by Jed Mercurio's HTM Television (Bloodlands, Stephen) and written by Daniel Brierley – follows a pair of bomb disposal operatives as they attempt to foil a sophisticated terrorist campaign that threatens the capital. Focussing on the extraordinary work of the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad, the show is incredibly gripping and hella tense, and will certainly appeal to fans of series like Bodyguard, Line of Duty, and Luther.
HTM Productions/ITV The Trigger Point cast features a raft of familiar faces. Here's where you might've seen them before:
1. Vicky McClure – Lana Washington
HTM Productions/ITV/David M. Benett / Via Getty Images for Paul Smith Vicky plays lead character Lana, a determined explosives officer with a military background. Many will of course know Vicky from her role as Detective Inspector Kate Fleming in Line of Duty, but she's also appeared in the likes of Broadchurch, Alex Rider, and the This Is England franchise. 2. Adrian Lester – Joel Nutkins
HTM Productions/ITV/Amanda Edwards / WireImage / Via Getty Images Adrian plays deuteragonist Joel, a fellow explosives officer who also served in Afghanistan with Lana. You might recognise Adrian from his starring role as Mickey in Hustle, but you also may know him from TV shows like Merlin and Girlfriends. Adrian is also a prolific stage actor, having appeared in Company, Hamlet, Othello, and The Lehman Trilogy. 3. Mark Stanley – DI Thom Youngblood
HTM Productions/ITV/Gary Mitchell/SOPA Images/LightRocket / Via Getty Images Mark plays Detective Inspector Thom, who is part of the team investigating counter terrorism and seems to have a little thing for Lana! Mark is well known for appearing in Game of Thrones as Grenn of the Night's Watch, but has also starred in Sanditon, Dickensian, and the movie Kajaki. 4. Warren Brown – Karl Maguire
HTM Productions/ITV/Karwai Tang / Via Getty Images Karl is another ex-military officer who becomes friendly with Lana due to their similar backgrounds. If you've seen Warren's face before, it might be from his time in Shameless, Hollyoaks, Luther, and/or the Strike Back series. 5. Manjinder Virk – DI Samira Desai
HTM Productions/ITV/Jeff Spicer / Via Getty Images Manjinder has starred in a huge range of shows including Hunted, Bad Move, The Bill, Runaway, Skins, and Monroe. In Trigger Point, she plays police officer Samira, who helps the explosives team combat terror on the ground. 6. Nabil Elouahabi – Hassan Rahim

Nabil has appeared in a ton of shows from Top Boy to EastEnders, and His Dark Materials to Only Fools and Horses. You may also recognise him from movies such as In This World, The Sum of All Fears, and Ali G Indahouse. 7. Eric Shango – Danny
HTM Productions/ITV/Neil P. Mockford / Via Getty Images Newcomer Eric makes his TV debut in Trigger Point as Danny, a police officer helping the counter-terror team. He previously appeared in the short film Support Me as Josh.8. Cal MacAninch – Inspector Lee Robins
HTM Productions/ITV/Dave M. Benett / Via Getty Images Cal may be familiar to viewers from his time on Holby Blue in which he played DI John Keenan. The Scottish actor has also appeared in Vigil, Mr Selfridge, Downton Abbey, and Time.9. Kris Hitchen – John Hudson
HTM Productions/ITV/Daniele Venturelli / WireImage / Via Getty Images Kris has appeared in several shows and movies including Sorry We Missed You, The Letter for the King, Anne Boleyn, and The North Water. He also formed part of the main cast in recent BBC drama Four Lives, in which he played Tom. 10. Nadine Marshall – Marianne Hamilton

Whitby / Via Getty Images for BFI You may know Nadine from her stint in British sitcom The Smoking Room as Sally, but she's also known for her stage work, having performed all roles in the lauded Royal Court Theatre production of Random by debbie tucker green. As well as this, Nadine starred in Second Coming, Criminal Justice, Paddington 2, and A Street Cat Named Bob. 11. Kerry Godliman (After Life), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), Pippa Haywood (Bodyguard), and Ewan Mitchell (The Last Kingdom) will also appear in the series, so look out for them!
