During the overnight, Instagram suffered multiple hours of outages across several countries. Still, according to Android Police, the outage appears to have mostly affected India, with users in countries like the United States and Germany remaining mostly unaffected by it. Solen Feyissa / Unsplash Down Detector, a website that gathers reports of outages for various websites first reported major outages on the platform around 10 or 11 p.m. PT. While the issues seem to have been resolved at this time, it does look like users suffered from the downtime for multiple hours, with reports surging early this morning around 4 a.m. PT. While the outages appear to have been resolved at this time, some users still are reporting issues accessing the website. Tweets also continue to appear in the #instagramdown search on Twitter, where users still are reporting problems accessing their accounts and feeds. Instagram also has acknowledged the issues on Twitter and has said that it is looking into it at this time. Other Facebook-owned applications, such as WhatsApp and Facebook, itself, appear to have been unaffected by the outages. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
