The aptly named Blink Video Doorbell and Floodlight Camera were announced during today's Amazon Devices & Services livestream event. Amazon The Blink Video Doorbell can record 1080p HD video during the day and has two-way audio for homeowners to speak to whoever is outside. It can be installed either wired or wirelessly, as the Doorbell has a two-year battery life using a Sync Module 2 device, although this may vary with device usage and environmental factors. Additional features include customizable motion detection, infrared night vision, and notifications thanks to its Alexa support. The Blink Floodlight Camera is an accessory to the other Outdoor products that adds a battery-powered LED light. It’s motion-triggered and delivers 700 lumens of lighting. Amazon also introduced a solar panel mount option to recharge the battery during the day. Amazon The Blink Video Doorbell is currently available for pre-order on Amazon in the United States for $49.99. A free 30-day trial of the Blink Subscription Plan is included with the pre-order, which allows users to record and store content for an unlimited amount of Blink devices on one account, and extends the warranty, The Floodlight Camera starts at $39.99 and is available for pre-order, as well. In addition, customers can purchase a bundle that includes an Outdoor camera with the Floodlight for $139.98. Both of these products launch on October 21.
