Getting ahold of an OLED Switch when it launches on Friday might be a bit tricky, as pre-orders are no longer available at this point. It's also likely you won't have much luck with online ordering on launch day, either. However, if you weren't able to secure a pre-order, you might want to consider checking in with local retailers.
Nintendo Gaming Intel reports that, after reaching out to both GameStop and Best Buy, it seems like the OLED Switch will be stocked in stores at launch. GameStop didn't confirm any units outright, but a Best Buy representative stated the new console is expected to be available. Although, with no word on how much stock is actually coming in, it's possible stores could sell out before the launch day ends. Nintendo Both Gaming Intel and some Twitter users highly recommend calling your local stores on Thursday to ask them directly if they expect to have available stock on launch day. Users like @Shinstrikex also suggest calling GameStop on both Thursday and Friday to see if any consoles become available. Sometimes, a store will have unclaimed pre-orders or pre-orders that were cancelled, and some stores may allow reservations that let them hold one for you. If you missed the pre-order window, but still really want to get an OLED Switch on launch day, good luck! Hopefully, at least one of your local game retailers will have one with your name on it.
