Go to FindMyMobile.Samsung.com and sign in. Select Ring if your phone is nearby. Select Track Location to find it remotely. Select Lock to secure your device. You can set a PIN number and a message if you want. Select Erase Data to completely wipe the phone. Use Retrieve Calls/Messages to get your 50 recent calls and messages from your missing phone. The Samsung Find My Mobile phone locator pinpoints your device on a map. It works much like the Google Find My Device and Apple Find My iPhone apps. If you've never used the Samsung Find My Mobile service before, you'll need to agree to its Terms of Service before you start. After a quick setup, you can pinpoint the location of your phone. Samsung Find My Mobile only works if your phone is powered on. If it's off, check periodically to see if someone turned it on. If the battery is dead, you'll have to resort to old-fashioned detective work. Go to FindMyMobile.Samsung.com. You'll find the Samsung online tool for locating a lost device. If you've never used this tool from the computer you're currently using and aren't signed in, select Sign In. If you used the service before from the computer you're currently using and are signed in, it immediately shows where your phone is located. On the sign-in screen, enter the email address or phone number used to set up your Samsung account, as well as your password. If you haven't used this tool before, agree to the Samsung privacy policy, allow it to locate your phone, and accept a couple of legal stipulations. If you are okay with all of that, select Agree. If your phone is signed in to your Samsung account, Find My Mobile instantly locates your lost phone on a map. If your lost phone is nearby and you can't locate it, select Ring, then select Ring again to command the device to emit a ringtone or sound. It rings at the highest volume, even if the sound is turned off. You can also ask the Samsung Find My Mobile feature to keep an eye on your phone until you get it back. Select Track Location in the remote tools menu, then select Start. Find My Mobile updates the location every 15 minutes. It also displays a notice on the phone that the location is being tracked. If your phone is somewhere reasonably safe until you can get back to it, take a moment to take some precautions. You can do several things, such as put it in power saving mode, back up its contents, and lock it. Select Lock in the remote management menu. It explains that your phone is not currently locked, but you can now lock it and show emergency contact information on the screen, suspend biometrics, stop the use of Samsung Pay, and stop anyone from turning off the device. Select Next. You have the option to set a PIN that unlocks the phone once you get it back. You can also enter a message that appears on the lock screen of your lost phone. If you like, provide a phone number where you can be reached if someone finds the device before you do. If you're concerned that you won't retrieve your device before someone else gets a hold of it, erase all the data on the phone. Select Erase Data, then select Factory data reset. You also have options for managing your device functions while it's out of your control. For example, if you'll miss important messages while your Galaxy phone is lost, access your recent calls and messages from the computer you use to locate the phone. You can also extend the battery life so that you can ring the phone when you're close to it to locate it. Select Retrieve Calls/Messages. The next screen explains of how this feature works. To retrieve your 50 recent calls and messages, select Retrieve. Give it a minute, and it displays a list of everyone who called or messaged you recently. Samsung Find My Mobile displays the battery level on your phone in the remote management tools menu. If the battery is low and you think it will power down before you retrieve it, extend its battery life remotely. Select Extend Battery Life, then select Extend to use this feature.
