Adding family members is a quick process, but you have to wait for the person to confirm your relationship. Navigate to your Facebook profile. On Facebook's desktop version, select Profile at the top of your Facebook page. In the app, select More (three horizontal lines) and then tap on See your profile. Select the About tab. (In the app, select See Your About Info.) Select Family and Relationships in the left column. (In the app, scroll down to Family Members.) Select Add a family member. Enter the name of your family member and select your relationship. Select an audience to be able to view this information. Choose from Public, Friends, Only Me, or Custom. Select Save Changes. You've added the family member, but that person's status will show Pending until they confirm the relationship. The information that others can see in your Facebook profile, including your family members, is determined by your privacy settings. It's up to you how much information you want to reveal publicly. The Family and Relationships section, under Relationship, is also where you add or change your relationship status. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
