Released on Wednesday, the update brings iCloud for Windows up to version 13 and will finally allow iCloud subscribers to access ProRes and ProRAW content on their Windows PCs using the iCloud application, MacRumors reports. The update also brings Apple’s password generator to the application, which will help people set up and save stronger passwords. Apple Apple originally debuted its iCloud Keychain password manager in August, and now Windows users will be able to easily access their passwords even when not using an Apple device. Apple has steadily been increasing the amount of cross-device support for its various services, and iCloud is just the latest to receive the treatment. The update also allows all the participants in an iCloud Drive folder to add or remove other people. On top of the above-mentioned features, version 13 of iCloud for Windows brings a slew of security changes to the application. According to Apple’s support documents, five big issues have been identified and patched in the new version, which should make it more secure for members. Was this page helpful?
