Designate Facebook Favorites on a Computer

There's an easier way than scrolling through Facebook to find posts from your favorite friends or pages. Facebook lets you designate friends or pages you choose as your Favorites and prioritizes their posts on your news feed. Here's how. Log in to Facebook on a computer. Select the arrow in the upper-right corner of your Facebook page. Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Select News Feed Preferences. Select Manage Favorites to display a new screen containing thumbnail images of your friends and the pages you follow. Toggle the star next to each of the thumbnails of the people or pages you want on your Favorites list until it turns blue, indicating they are among your favorites. The selections you make are not ranked. For example, the person or page you chose first won't necessarily be seen first. Select X to close the window.

Select Favorites With the Mobile Facebook App

Here's how to identify your Favorites using the Facebook iOS or Android app. Tap the three horizontal lines. Scroll down and select Settings & Privacy. Tap Settings. Scroll down and select News Feed.
