How to Play Alexa Games on Your Smartphone
Alexa offers a wide variety of games that you play with just the sound of your voice. These entertainment options are often accessed through an Alexa-enabled device like the Amazon Echo, but you can also play Alexa games on your smartphone in the Amazon Alexa app. Follow these steps to start playing games using the Amazon Alexa app. Launch the Amazon Alexa app, which should have been installed on your Android or iOS phone or tablet when you first set up your Alexa-enabled device. If prompted, log in using your Amazon account credentials. Tap the Menu button, represented by two-and-a-half horizontal lines and located in the upper left-hand corner. When the drop-down menu appears, select the Skills & Games option. Several Alexa games will now be displayed, found under the following headings: Staff Picks and Alexa, What Are Your Games Skills? Swipe left to browse these games, selecting skills that may interest you. This will provide more information including a detailed summary, player reviews, age ratings and more. It will also display the syntax needed to play that respective game. If you find a game that you'd like to play, first tap on its ENABLE button to activate it within your Alexa skills profile. Some games will prompt you to sign in to your Amazon account a second time for linking purposes. Once a game skill is enabled, tap the Alexa button - located at the bottom of the screen in the center of a row of icons and represented by an aqua blue circle with a speech bubble inside of it. A black screen should now be displayed, with a multi-colored volume input indicator at the bottom. Speak the appropriate syntax to begin playing the game, such as Alexa, Play Jeopardy!
