Measuring Angles Angle Meter

What We Like Several tools in one app. Accurate measurements. Measure difference between two angles. What We Don't Like Small ad banner at the top of the app. Limited features. Menu is not intuitive. Angle Meter is a useful app for measuring the angle of real world surfaces. You can hold the phone standing up on any surface and the display will show you the angle of that surface relative to the ground. The app includes several other tools, including a protractor that lets you place your phone flat to measure surface angles, and a laser level tool that lets you place your phone on any object above the floor to view how level the surface is. It provides you with an augmented reality measurement tool for measuring the dimensions of a room. First, measure the height of the wall, then measure the perimeter of the floor. What We Like Simple to use. Accurate measurements. Clean design. What We Don't Like Few features. Requires phone calibration. Banner ad at bottom of app. Bubble level is one of the simplest apps of all. It works like a regular bubble level you'd buy at the hardware store, but it's three bubble levels in one. Requires good lighting to work right. Smart Distance Meter, as the name implies, helps you measure both the distance to a target, and the height of the target itself, using just the phone camera. You'll need to calibrate the height measurement by manually entering the height of the phone above the ground, but once you do, placing the crosshairs on the target returns a fairly accurate measurement of height and distance to target. It incorporates the Google Maps distance feature into advanced features that let you measure both distances and areas on top of the Google map of an area. Unclear menu system. This ruler app from endoscope works slightly differently than others. Instead of measuring objects alongside your phone, you can place objects directly on the screen and slide the measurement points to the edge of the object. You can save measurements if you need to reference them later. The app also lets you take a picture with your camera, then use the app to measure the object in the photo.
