The Animation Painter copies the animation effects of one object to others.Select object with animation > Animations tab > in Advanced Animation group, select Animation Painter.Select the object to which you wish to apply the same animation. This article explains how to use the Animation Painter in PowerPoint 2010, allowing you to copy one object's animation effects (and all the settings applied to that animated object) to another. Instructions in this article apply to PowerPoint 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010; and PowerPoint for Microsoft 365.

Copy an Animation Effect to a Single Object

The Animation Painter copies the animation effects of one object (and all the settings applied to that animated object), to another object (or many objects) with a single click of the mouse on each new object. Select the object that contains the desired animation. Select the Animations tab. In the Advanced Animation group, select Animation Painter. Note that the mouse cursor changes to an arrow with a paintbrush. Select the object to which you wish to apply this same animation. This animation and all its settings have now been applied to the new object.

Copy Animation to Several Objects

Apply animation settings to multiple objects with a single click of the mouse on each new object. Select the object that contains the desired animation. Select the Animations tab. In the Advanced Animation group, select Animation Painter. Select the first object to which you wish to apply this same animation. This animation and all its settings are applied to the new object.
