My Gear
I'm sadly lacking in Apple silicon and am currently making do with two Intel space heaters. The first is a 2018 Intel i7 Mac mini, upgraded to 32GB of RAM. That's my main workhorse and the one I write on daily.
As a portable machine, I use a 2015 13-inch MacBook Pro that is in dire need of replacement. That'll be replaced by a 14-inch M1 Pro MacBook Air soon hopefully.
Other tech includes an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a 2018 11-inch iPad Pro. The house is also littered with HomePods and HomePod minis as well as one stubborn Echo Dot.
Writing words is something that I've been enjoying for many years, and I hope that people enjoy reading them at Lifewire. Writing about technology can be a complicated thing, but the key is to make sure to turn any complication into easy to understand text that you don't need to be an expert to grasp.
